Security buyers don't believe vendors. They believe the source the AI quotes. Is that source you?

I help NYC cybersecurity and compliance software companies get found by technical and risk buyers in Google, and cited in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews.

I'm Cristian, a Brooklyn-based consultant. I work on AI visibility for a database company selling to engineers at Cockroach Labs, and my training in enterprise SEO is why large, complicated sites don't scare me.

The most skeptical buyer, searching for the most specific answers

Security and compliance buyers ask narrow, high-stakes questions: how do I get SOC 2 ready? What's the best tool for HIPAA monitoring? Which vendors map to ISO 27001?

They've seen every marketing claim and trust almost none of them. So they lean on sources that look neutral: documentation, standards pages, independent write-ups and, increasingly, whatever an AI tool summarizes for them.

If your best explanations live in a gated PDF or a slow, JavaScript-heavy site, neither Google nor an AI tool can read them. The vendor that publishes the clear, open answer gets quoted. The rest disappear from the shortlist.

What we build

01

Framework and use-case pages that earn trust

Clear pages for the standards and problems your buyers search for, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA, written for practitioners, not for a press release.

02

A technical read of what machines can see

Gated assets, client-side rendering and slow pages hide the content you worked hardest on. I check what Google and AI crawlers actually read.

03

Comparison and "alternatives to" content

Honest, specific pages for buyers who are already evaluating, which are the highest-intent searches in the category.

04

Tracking by buyer question

We watch which vendors AI tools name for the questions that matter to your pipeline, and see you move from missing to mentioned.

Trust is the product, so the content has to prove it

In most categories, a good landing page can carry the sale. In security, the buyer wants to see that you understand their problem better than the vendor next to you, and they judge that from your documentation and explainers.

That favors teams who publish real expertise openly. AI tools tend to cite pages that answer a specific question clearly, which is exactly what a technical explainer does.

The catch is accuracy. A wrong claim in a security context is worse than no claim. I work with your engineers and legal team so the content is correct before it goes live.

Why work with me

I work with engineers and legal every day.

At Cockroach Labs I improve AI visibility for a technical product alongside product marketing, engineers, sales, brand, social and legal.

I'm trained for big, complicated sites.

I completed Sitebulb's enterprise SEO training in 2025 and led technical SEO across 100+ domains at Compado and 2M+ app listings in 17 languages at Softonic.

I've built for technical audiences.

I founded SQL Easy, an interactive SQL course, grew it to 300K+ students and sold it to Beekeeper Studio. I know how technical people search when they're learning.

A city full of regulated buyers

New York's banks, insurers, hospitals and law firms all answer to auditors, which makes the city a natural market for security and compliance software. I'm in Brooklyn and can sit down with your team when it helps.

I only take on a few clients at a time

Because I also work on this every day at Cockroach Labs, I keep my client list small. You work directly with me, not a junior account manager.

Common questions

Our best content is gated. Do we have to ungate it?

Not all of it. But AI tools and Google can't read what's behind a form. Usually we publish the explainer openly and keep the deeper asset gated.

Will you write about security topics accurately?

I write with your engineers and compliance leads in the loop, and treat their review as part of the process, not an obstacle.

Can this replace our paid campaigns?

No, and I wouldn't suggest it. Paid reaches buyers who are looking now. This puts you in the answer when they research before they engage.

Here's how to start

Send me your site and the three questions a security or compliance buyer would ask an AI tool.

Within two business days, I'll send a free AI visibility check: who gets named, whether you do, and what I'd fix first.

No pitch deck, and no retainer to sign up front. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you.

Every week you wait, an open competitor explainer gets quoted in place of your gated one.
