Your buyer is a CFO's team with a spreadsheet of options and an AI tool. How do you get on the sheet?
I help NYC companies that sell software to finance teams, such as accounting, FP&A, spend and treasury tools, win the searches those teams make and get named when they ask an AI tool.
I'm Cristian, a Brooklyn-based consultant. At Compado I owned SEO for 100+ domains generating $2M+ a year in organic revenue, so I judge SEO the way a finance team does: by what it returns.

Finance buyers compare line by line, and start in a chat window
A controller or FP&A lead evaluating software builds a comparison: features, integrations, security, price, implementation time. The first draft of that list increasingly comes from asking an AI tool, what are the best tools for month-end close at a company our size?
The answer names a few vendors. If yours isn't one, you're not on the spreadsheet, and you never learn why you lost.
Finance buyers also trust specifics. Integration guides, security documentation, pricing logic and implementation timelines are the pages they hunt for, and the ones AI tools quote. Many vendors bury those pages.
What you get
What we build
The comparison searches your buyers run
"Alternatives to," "vs" and "best software for" searches in your niche, mapped and answered honestly.
Integration and workflow pages
Every ERP, bank feed and tool you connect to is a search someone makes. Built well, those pages scale and convert.
Pricing and security pages that get cited
Clear, factual pages a finance and IT buyer can verify, structured so AI tools quote them accurately.
Tracking tied to pipeline
We tie organic and AI visibility to demo requests, so you can show finance what search returns.
Why finance software is different
Your buyer audits everything, including your marketing
Finance teams distrust claims they can't check. Vague positioning loses to the vendor with a clear integration list and a straight answer on price.
It also means search is measurable. A page that ranks for "alternatives to [incumbent]" leads to demo requests you can count, which is how I've always run SEO.
AI tools reward the same clarity. They quote pages that answer a specific question plainly, and skip marketing language.
Proof
Why work with me
I've tied SEO to hard revenue.
At Compado I owned SEO for 100+ domains generating $2M+ a year in organic revenue, leading technical SEO with engineering, product, data and partnerships teams.
I've run SEO for transactional, high-stakes sites.
At StubHub I led SEO across 9 Latin American markets for a portfolio generating €500K a month, delivering 15%+ year-over-year growth in organic traffic and revenue.
I've built revenue from organic alone.
I built CompraMejor.es from 0 to €400K in revenue in 18 months, entirely from organic traffic, and turned two Softonic editorial sites from loss-making to €480K+ a year.
Why NYC
Where finance teams are
New York has more finance teams per square mile than anywhere in the country, so many of your buyers are a short ride away. I'm in Brooklyn and can meet in person when it helps.
Availability
I only take on a few clients at a time
Because I also work on this every day at Cockroach Labs, I keep my client list small. You work directly with me, not a junior account manager.
FAQ
Common questions
Have you worked for a finance software vendor?
My closest experience is revenue-focused SEO at Compado and StubHub. I've not worked in-house at an accounting or FP&A vendor, and I'd rather say so.
How is this different from fintech?
Fintech pages are about companies building financial products, like payments and lending infrastructure. This page is for software that finance teams buy to run their work.
Can you show an ROI?
I tie work to demo requests and pipeline, not rankings. Early on you'll see visibility tracking, and later what organic and AI search contribute to the funnel.
