Every fintech on the FiDi-to-Flatiron corridor wants the same ChatGPT answer. I help you be the one it names.
I'm Cristian, an SEO and AI search (AEO) consultant based across the river in Brooklyn. I work with Manhattan's AI-native, fintech and SaaS companies on getting cited in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews, not just ranked on page one of Google.
I lead the same work in-house at Cockroach Labs, a database company selling to the same technical buyers you're trying to reach.

Manhattan has the most competitors per buyer of any borough
Walk from Union Square to Wall Street and you'll pass more SEO-literate marketing teams than in the rest of the city combined. Every fintech, every SaaS scaleup and every ad-tech company between Flatiron and FiDi is chasing the same buyers, often the same three-name answer, when someone asks ChatGPT which vendor to shortlist.
That's a crowded market, and a specific one: these buyers research between meetings, ask AI tools for comparisons before they'll take a sales call, and have already seen a dozen pitches that sound the same.
Ranking on Google isn't enough here. You need to be the name that shows up when a buyer asks an AI tool who else does what you do, with content sharp enough to survive next to real competitors, not imaginary ones.
What you get
Here's what we fix
Where you stand against Manhattan competitors
I run the exact questions your buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews, side by side with the three or four companies actually competing for your deals on this island.
A technical read, fast
Manhattan SaaS and fintech sites are usually JavaScript-heavy, behind gates, or mid-migration. I check what AI crawlers and Google can actually read before we touch a word of content.
Content built for a skeptical buyer
Comparison pages, use cases and docs that hold up against buyers who've already read your competitors' version. No generic listicles.
Tracking that moves at Manhattan's pace
AI answers shift weekly. You get a dashboard showing where you stand against named competitors, not a quarterly PDF.
Why Manhattan
Why this market is unlike the rest of the city
Manhattan is the only borough where most of your competitors are also your neighbors. Your buyer can walk to three competitor offices at lunch, which means your positioning has to be sharper than “local” or “convenient.”
It's also where the AI-search shift is hitting hardest first. The fintech and SaaS buyers based here were already comparison-shopping before ChatGPT; now they do it by asking an AI tool instead of opening ten tabs. The companies that show up in that answer win deals they never even knew were in play.
I'm not in Manhattan. I'm in Brooklyn, a short subway ride away, and I spend my day job inside a company selling into exactly this market. That combination, outside perspective, inside experience, is what most Manhattan-based agencies can't offer.
Proof
Why work with me
I sell to your buyers every day.
I lead SEO and AI search at Cockroach Labs, a database company whose customers are the same engineering and product leaders at Manhattan fintechs and SaaS companies. I'm not guessing what convinces them.
18 years building search growth at scale.
- +15% organic growth year over year across nine Latin American markets at StubHub
- 2M+ listings in 17 languages at Softonic, with traffic up 1,100% in a year
- 200K → 1M+ monthly users in nine months for the health site Onmeda.es
I understand revenue, not just traffic.
At Softonic I built a sponsored-content business that hit six figures in year one, selling to companies like Adobe and Avast, the same kind of enterprise buyer you're chasing.
I've tied search to revenue.
At Compado I owned SEO for 100+ domains generating $2M+ a year in organic revenue. I built CompraMejor.es from 0 to €400K in 18 months from organic traffic alone, and turned two Softonic editorial sites from loss-making to €480K+ a year.
Availability
I only take on a few clients at a time
Because I also lead this work at Cockroach Labs, I keep my client list small. You work directly with me, not a junior account manager.
FAQ
Common questions
We're already running paid search and ABM. Do we need this too?
Paid gets you in front of buyers who are already looking. AEO gets you named when they ask an AI tool who else to consider, often before they've told anyone they're looking. They work on different stages of the same deal.
Our site is a React app behind a login wall for the product. Does that matter?
It matters a lot. If your marketing pages and docs render client-side or sit behind unnecessary gates, AI crawlers may never see them. That's usually the first thing I check for Manhattan SaaS and fintech sites.
How is this different from hiring a Manhattan agency?
Most agencies here sell a retainer and hand you off to a junior account team. I do this work myself, in-house, at a company selling to the same buyers you are, and I keep my client list small enough to stay hands-on.
Get started
Here's how to start
Send me your site and the names of the two or three competitors you keep losing deals to.
Within two business days, I'll send back where you stand in AI answers against them, and what I'd fix first.
No pitch deck, and no retainer to sign up front. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you.
Every week you wait, one more Manhattan competitor claims the answer you wanted.
