A fintech buyer spends months researching before anyone from your sales team hears from them. What are they reading?

I help NYC B2B fintech and fintech infrastructure companies show up in Google and in the answers ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews give when buyers compare vendors.

I'm Cristian, a Brooklyn-based consultant who ties search to pipeline. I've owned SEO for 100+ domains generating $2M+ a year in organic revenue at Compado, and I work with legal every day at Cockroach Labs.

The slowest sale on the Street starts in a chat window

Fintech purchases involve a committee: a champion, a finance lead, security, compliance and often legal. Every one of them researches the vendor on their own.

Today a lot of that research starts with an AI tool. Which payments APIs are SOC 2 compliant? What are the alternatives to our current vendor? The answer names a few companies and quietly leaves the rest out.

In fintech, that matters more than most categories. Buyers are cautious by design, so being left out of the first answer is hard to recover from. And the pages that get cited tend to be the clear ones: how it works, what it complies with, how it compares.

What we build

01

A view of how the committee searches

Champions, finance, security and compliance ask different questions. We map them and see who the AI tools name for each one.

02

Trust pages that get quoted

Security, compliance, pricing and "how it works" pages written plainly and structured so AI tools can cite them accurately, with the claims your legal team has signed off.

03

Comparison content that survives scrutiny

Honest, specific comparisons and "alternatives to" pages, because fintech buyers have seen every vague one already.

04

A process that fits compliance review

I plan for legal and compliance approval from day one, so content doesn't die in a review queue for six weeks.

The pages that win are the ones a nervous buyer can verify

A consumer might click the shiniest result. A fintech buyer wants proof: certifications, uptime, who else uses you, where the data lives. If your site buries that, AI tools can't find it either.

It also means shortcuts backfire. Overstated claims fail legal review, and vague claims don't get quoted. The work is precise, boring-in-a-good-way writing that a skeptical reader can check.

That's a process problem as much as an SEO one. Content that can't clear review fast doesn't compound, so I design the workflow along with the pages.

Why work with me

I tie search to revenue.

At Compado I owned SEO for 100+ domains generating $2M+ a year in organic revenue, leading technical SEO with engineering, product, data and partnerships teams.

I work with legal on AI content.

At Cockroach Labs I work on AI visibility with product marketing, engineering, sales and legal, so I know how to get accurate claims through review.

I've run SEO where a mistake costs money.

At StubHub I led SEO across 9 Latin American markets for a portfolio generating €500K a month, shipping a roadmap with product, content, catalog and engineering.

Close to the buyers

New York is where fintech's customers, investors and regulators sit within a few subway stops of each other. I'm based in Brooklyn and can meet your team in person when it helps.

I only take on a few clients at a time

Because I also work on this every day at Cockroach Labs, I keep my client list small. You work directly with me, not a junior account manager.

Common questions

Have you worked in fintech before?

My direct fintech experience is limited to agency work. What I bring is the regulated-review workflow I use at Cockroach Labs, committee-based B2B buying, and revenue-focused SEO at scale. I'd rather say that up front.

Will your content pass our compliance team?

I can't speak for your reviewers, but I build it for them: sourced claims, plain language, and a workflow that gets feedback early instead of at the end.

Do you need access to our product or data?

No. A first visibility check needs only your site and the questions you want to own.

Here's how to start

Send me your site and the two or three vendors your buyers compare you against.

Within two business days, I'll send a free AI visibility check: how the AI tools describe you against them, and what I'd fix first.

No pitch deck, and no retainer to sign up front. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you.

Every week you wait, a competitor's trust page gets quoted instead of yours.
